Another Satisfied Customer

Meet the luckiest basset hound in America. Every day, he goes to work with his owner, Bruce Nerison Jr., General Manager of Wheel City Auto Sales in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He not only gets to spend time with his best friend, Bruce, he also gets to meet, play, and eat popcorn with many interesting people who come into the dealership. And besides all of that, he has a really great name, Morton.

The Morton building after which the basset hound is named is a beautiful two-story 60' x 18' x 75' automobile dealership with an inviting wraparound porch, open cathedral ceilings, and a bright, fun interior with an antique car theme. Bruce boasts, "We get so many compliments on the building, when people walk in and when they pull up from the outside. It's so pleasing to the eye."

One of Morton's favorite features about the building is the staircase. Bruce explains, "He sits up on the landing... and he can watch people come in both doors. Wherever he thinks he'll get the most petting, he goes down that side of the steps and heads over to the door, and just lays there and gets petted. He's got a tough life, let me tell you."
