THREE RIVERS SPORTS A NEW LOOK

The Morton Buildings,Inc., construction center in Three Rivers, Michigan, has recently undergone a noteworthy transformation. The remodeling and expansion project work was started and completed by Morton Buildings' construction crews, who dedicated time to the renovation between customer projects. Due to last winter's unpredictable weather, completing the exterior work proved more challenging than originally anticipated, so the entire project took six months. In spite of it all, the results are well worth the wait concedes Manager Mike Martin.

The Three Rivers renovation project involved much more than superficial improvements. Martin shares that the undertaking included remodeling the existing shop to create offices; renovation and redecorating of the entire office area; the construction of a 60-by-60 building for the storage of trucks and equipment; and cosmetic exterior changes including a new facade and siding as well as a new copper roof- a very striking and attractive feature that draws the eye of all who pass by the facility.

Morton Buildings has been part of the Three Rivers community since the mid '70's. In fact, Martin's predecessor Steve Olson - the original manager of the Three Rivers construction center, has been employed by Morton Buildings for 36 years. While Olson has retired from his position as manager, he still works for the company part-time. Olson is passionate about what he does and currently helps with specialized projects, participates in training at the corporate headquarters in Morton, IL, and he is always willing to help new managers or act as a troubleshooter in the field as needed.

Mike Martin himself has been with the company for 25 years, having spent the last four years as the Three Rivers construction center manager.

Three Rivers has been an excellent location for Morton Buildings, with the Three Rivers construction center serving about a 50-mile radius around their office.

Offering the versatile Morton Buildings product line, the Three Rivers office constructs a wide variety of buildings including machine and general purpose storage, garages, upscale suburban buildings with or without living quarters, and a large number of equestrian facilities. They also help to plan and construct a lot of commercial buildings, and they are no strangers to church planning and construction.
