Morton owners speak about the how their Morton building has added value to their property and why they’re glad they invested in a Morton.

“It’s worth the little extra.”

“We shopped around. I checked out the local lumber yard. I had them give me a bid on what lumber would be on a 50' x 100' [structure]. Morton decided a 54' x 90' was the closest they could get to the way they wanted to build it. It didn’t cost me very much more to go with Morton and it was done in four days. The year before I built my dairy facility, a friend built one about double [my building’s] size. I watched it closely. I got a price from [the Minnesota-based company], but I wasn’t impressed with the way they do their buildings. I thought I was getting a better deal with Morton. The biggest comment I get is, ‘How can you afford Morton Buildings?’ It’s worth the little extra. I don’t want to have to do it twice.”

“I really was concerned with having a building that would be of value twenty years from now and not something that’s going to depreciate. What I’ve been told, everybody that’s driven by (and I’ve had business people from all over Jackson) tell me, ‘This place that you’ve built is going to be worth twice what you’ve got into it in ten to fifteen years.’ And that makes you feel pretty good, when you’ve made an investment that you’re proud of. It’s not just a facility that I use but it’s a business investment for me—and I think that was the biggest thing that we achieved overall.”

This size provides twice the floor space of a typical two-car garage, and allows for 8' tall overhead doors—16' x 8' front and 12' x 8' rear. Opening both overhead doors gives pleasant “flow through” ventilation.

It has the interior package which includes: steel walls, steel ceiling, R-19 wall insulation, R-38 ceiling insulation, and insulated doors. I keep the interior at 60 degrees, but in cold weather (25-30) with the heat off, overnight in twelve to fourteen hours, the inside only drops from 60 to about 50!

As for us, we didn’t spend money on the Morton, we invested money in it! Unlike most things in life, the Morton will not only please us now, but will increase in value over the years! Top quality, well designed, and well built will pay good dividends!
