"One area that we are very pleased with the Morton building is the energy efficiency. For example in January of 1993, our energy bill was $703 for a 12,000 square foot building. $642 for electricity, $61 for gas, which took care of the heat and the hot water. $61 into 12,000 square feet represents 1/2 cent a month per square foot. The bills at the old post were somewhat similar to what they are here, but the building was only one-third the size." |
