Robert Marin from Chambersburg, PA The pulling tractor hobby helps Martin and his wife get away from their farm business for some fun and sightseeing. They have traveled to Wisconsin, Illinois, Georgia, Florida, Iowa, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Canada for pulling competitions and shows.

Three years ago, when Martin got into the hobby of pulling, he built a 42' x 14' x 60' Morton building dedicated to his pulling tractors only. Martin uses his Morton building for storing and reworking his pulling tractors. The building also includes Morton's Energy Performer® insulation system, which works very well in insulating the heat or air conditioning when Martin works on his tractors.

"It's real nice in there, " Martin said.

In addition to the fun Martin has with his pulling tractors, he also maintains a successful dairy operation. After Martin finished school he worked for his father for a year and then formed a partnership with him in 1968. In 1974, he bought his father's farm and took over his 100 milking cows. Today, he maintains 700 cows in his dairy operation.

Martin first learned of Morton Buildings in 1978 when he wanted to build a machine shed. He noticed Morton Buildings' ads in several farm magazines and decided to take advantage of one of Morton's fall specials. Martin's first Morton building was a 54' x 90' machine shed. The crew put the building up in three days, which surprised Martin.

Morton Building Energy Performer® "I was really impressed with how fast it went up," he said. Martin liked the efficiency of the Morton crew, but what really impressed Martin was the steel used on a Morton building. The metal was a lot heavier compared to other competitors in the area at that time, Martin said. Morton's steel has always been a lot farther ahead than the others from what Martin can see and he has continued to hire Morton Buildings throughout the years. Martin currently has eight Morton Buildings, of which five he has on his home farm. His other three Morton buildings stand at another farm in Shippensburg, PA where he grew up with his parents and now owns.

Martin contends, "everything with Morton has always been great," and he has never had any problems. "Everything at Morton has really progressed."
