Opportunity Description:
The Engineering Associate position entails working with various individuals such as Architectural Drafting Technicians, Construction Estimators, Project Managers and other Engineers partnered and within our company.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Learn Morton Building Inc. methods and techniques of construction
- Develop structural calculations for building structures
- Develop understanding of Model Building Code requirements across the U.S.
- Review and check building plans on projects that include suburban, homes, churches, equestrian and farm, business, veterinary facilities and more
- Develop understanding of mechanical systems such as electrical, plumbing and HVAC to assist in design for use in a Morton Buildings Project Delivery System
Advancement opportunities include various levels within the Engineering Associate position. Individuals who are looking to advance their career by becoming licensed Professional Engineers in various states are desired.
Opportunity Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering with a structures emphasis
- Must have a positive outgoing attitude and be a self-starter
